EXHIBIT & EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN
hello
I'm a born and raised Midwest girl... In fact, I spent my childhood growing up on a farm in rural Minnesota. Animals and tractors are nothing too surprising for me. Along with the outdoors, athletics were also a huge part of my raising-- I participated in just about everything I could. The older I got, the more focused I became on my favorite: Volleyball. Amazingly, the sport of volleyball is what was able to lead me to my next milestone: college.
Staying in the state, I made my way to the tundra of Northern Minnesota. There, I graduated from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Art and Design and an added emphasis in Exhibit Design. After graduation, I was eager to start a career outside the state to get a fresh start and a new adventure. I decided to move to Wisconsin to start my career with MG Design (don't be fooled-- SKOL Vikes). Unfortunately,a couple years later, MG Design was forced to close their doors in the Spring of 2018. This change brought me to yet another adventure... The state of Illinois! Although the closing of MG was upsetting, surprising and definitely a surprise it brought me another opportunity to learn and grow-- This time I landed at Chicago Exhibit Productions (CEP) in Bolingbrook, IL. This was a smaller company that gave me lots of opportunities to grow and learn very fast, in many different avenues; however, after a year, I decided to pursue another opportunity for personal reasons. I now find myself residing back in Minnesota working for Global Experience Specialists (GES) as a custom exhibit designer on their Corporate Accounts team.
Currently, I'm working hard to learn, engage and soak up every piece of industry knowledge I can. I've learned that this industry is always changing, evolving and bettering itself-- I'm just trying to keep up! In between my career goals, I try to find time for traveling and spending any time I can with family and friends.
