CEP, Inc.

2019 EXHIBITOR LIVE

During my time at CEP, I was tasked with the design and strategy of our 2019 ExhibitorLIVE booth. When we started the brainstorming meetings for the new design there wasn't a lot of direction or ideas of how we wanted to present ourselves. I found a lot of people looking to me and asking, "Well why did you join our team and how do you think we should be presented in the industry?" I thought about why I chose to start my employment with CEP and I kept looping back around to the thought of the people and culture this company has built for itself. Everyone that works there is part of a family and the culture that surrounds the employees is almost one that is a "have a good time, enjoy yourself and the process of working together in our partnership"... So I used this thought to inspire a "lounge" experience in our booth space. I wanted the architecture to represent the CEP personality and brand, but I wanted the experience within to be a fun, engaging and relaxing atmosphere to simply hang out and enjoy with our staff.

So with that thought in mind, I comprised several white model concepts and in the end had this concept chosen to move forward with. The symmetrical, vertical and sleek architecture was a popular favorite, as many felt it reflected the CEP brand in the perfect way. In addition to the architectural design, I was tasked with the engagement within the space and the graphic campaigns that supported the show. Having to tackle both 2D and 3D, as well as the strategic aspect of the booth was a new and welcomed challenge. I had the best time throughout the entire process and it was the sweetest reward to see it all come together at the show. I have to give lots of credit to my team of carpenters and CAD drawers-- They did an amazing job catching every detail of my ideas! I'm looking forward to more opportunities like this in the future!
